Breaking the Block : A Writer's Workshop & Social

Stuck in a creative rut? Staring at the blinking cursor of doom? It’s time to shake off the writer’s block and get those words flowing again.

Join us for Breaking the Block, a two-part evening designed to blast through your creative obstacles and reconnect you with your writing:

✍️ 7:00 - 8:00 PM | Hands-On Workshop ($25)

A fast-paced, interactive hour of guided exercises, creative play, and zero-pressure writing prompts—all designed to outsmart your inner critic and reignite your creative spark. Whether you’re drafting a novel, journaling for yourself, or just trying to get unstuck, this session will get the words moving again. LGBTQ+ and BIPOC writers are especially encouraged to join, with prompts and resources focused on identity.

🎁 Bonus: The Writer’s Survival Kit: Attendees of the hands-on workshop will receive a goody bag filled with writer’s essentials—because every great story starts with the right tools.

🍷 8:00 - 9:00 PM | Free Drop-In Writing & Social

Stick around for a relaxed hour of open writing time or mingle with fellow writers over drinks. Whether you want to keep the momentum going or just unwind with creative company, this part is free and open to all.
